Some of our Adopted Dogs
Benny
We adopted Benny from Dalyan and brought him to Canada over a year ago, and we are so thankful to all of the amazing people at Dohakder for helping us bring this wonderful boy home. Thank you for all of the amazing work you do! ?

Jim
This is Jim. We met Jim (Jimbo) on the streets of Dalyan in September 2013 and without the help of Dohakder and his amazing foster family, he would not be here with us today. We cannot thank you all enough for helping bring this loving, crazy dog into our lives, we absolutely adore him. We are also adopting Nellie who we met in Dalyan, in September 2020. She was found with her siblings in a taped up cardboard box and they all had parvo, luckily they all survived and she will hopefully arrive with us in Scotland, in March

Meesha
We saw Jane’s ad on Facebook. From the start, Jane was easy to talk to. She came round to talk to us and show us our dog (Meesha). She explained where meesha was staying, told us her story, how she helped there and what the process would be. Everything was so straightforward after the meeting. She communicated with us all the time, keeping us up to date on Meeshas progress, and after we had made payment, we were given the details of the transport company. It was our sons birthday a few days before receiving Meesha and Jane sent him a card and gave him a present which was a photo frame with a picture of Meesha in which takes pride of place on our mantelpiece in our living room. Jane was still in contact with us throughout and made the whole process very smooth. The transport company kept us up to date with pictures and travel information on their location every day. We were told in advance of the drop off day and time and on the day, we were given notice of when they would deliver Meesha to us. When the transport company delivered Meesha, they showed us all of her paperwork and took a picture of us with her. They then left to go to their next drop. Jane was in Turkey at the time of us receiving Meesha, however, she still contacted us to welcome Meesha to our family. Jane has remained in regular contact since receiving Meesha. Because of current restrictions, we haven’t been able to have a follow up meeting with Jane to show her Meesha and how she’s getting on with us, however, as soon as restrictions are lifted, we will meet up with Jane so she can see how well our new addition to the family has settled in. I would highly recommend Jane to anyone looking to rescue a dog to give it a second chance. The process is so easy and Jane makes you feel extremely comfortable and you can tell how passionate she is about these dogs and how much she loves helping them.

Sheba
SHEBA Jane arranged for Sheba to be transported to the UK last August 2019 from Dalyan, Turkey and we jumped at the chance to re-home a rescue dog who needed a loving home. We were very nervous as so many things could go wrong, plus we had never met Sheba before – what if she didn’t like us? – but we had nothing to worry about. Jane took care of everything and reassured us. The transport agency that Jane used to bring Sheba to the UK, EPT, were fantastic and in December 2019 we collected a very tired Sheba from Folkestone after her 5 day road trip and we are now so happy with our new friend. Jane kept us updated completely along the way and answered all of our questions. We now have our lovely Sheba in her forever home, where she belongs. She settled in very well and even made friends with our cat. Thank you Jane, we love her so much and cannot thank you enough
