Adoption Costs

That’s easy, as far as the Dohakder Rescue-Centre goes, as we do not charge anyone for a dog. We are obviously happy to receive any donation, of any size, to help us help the dogs, but there is no fee from us.

Your costs will be the additional veterinary and government checks, certification and inoculations that your new family member will need according to where they are travelling to, to join you in your home.

The main cost is usually travel and fostering if required, prior to travel. This differs depending upon the final destination, but we have lots of experienced and knowledgeable regular volunteers who can help you through this process, which isn’t really a difficult one. The hardest part will be waiting for your new family addition, but it is a wait that will be worthwhile and one you will never regret!
